Helper's Magnet
Mr. Rogers always knew the right thing to say when we were at our most vulnerable as children. He would come in with an encouraging word that would make perfect sense and comfort us in our time of need. On this one instance, it was his mother who told him those words. When he would see frightening things on the news his mother was there to lend her words of advice and guidance.
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news,” Rogers said to his television neighbors, “my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’” Fred Rogers
This year has been a rough one, but through it all we need to look to those who help, who guide, who lend us that helpful hand or encouraging word. This pin is a beautiful reminder to look for those who are helping and to stay positive in your resolve.
